ABOUT TRI-STATE JAZZ SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP
MEMBERSHIP YEAR
Memberships
run from July 1 to June 30, but new members who join between March 1
and June 30 of any year will have their memberships extended until June
30 of the following year.
SAVINGS FOR CURRENT MEMBERS With
half-price
admissions, basic
membership provides savings of $10 per concert after the second concert (dues
plus admission
charges), compared to non-member rates. It pays to be a member even if you attend just two concerts a year.
SAVINGS
FOR
NEW
MEMBERS
Non-members attending
their
first Tri-State Jazz Society concert will be admitted
for half price ($10). When they return for another concert,
they will be charged full-price admission ($20) unless they become members.
But there’s a special incentive for new members. By joining at any
concert, they will be admitted to that concert free.
For the same $20 a non-member would pay for a concert admission, he or
she can get a full
year’s membership and
free admission
to
that
concert.
Savings with a new membership will be $10 per
concert after the first concert, compared to non-member rates. The free admission with purchase of a membership is a promotional incentive for new
members only. It does not apply to renewing members or former
members who are re-activating memberships.
SPONSORS
AND PATRONS
Tri-State
Jazz
Society
depends on the generous contributions of members because basic membership dues and concert admission charges do not cover all
costs. The board asks members to
consider
renewing their memberships at the Sponsor or Patron level if they
are able
to do so. These levels of membership are described on the contributions page.
